Terms of Service

By installing or using SnapCapture AI ("the Extension") or visiting snapcapture.ai ("the Site"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Extension or Site.

Use of the Extension

SnapCapture AI is a Chrome browser extension for capturing web pages and generating AI-powered summaries and analysis. You may use the Extension for lawful personal and professional purposes only. You may not use it to capture, process, or transmit proprietary, confidential, or classified information you do not have the right to access.

Accounts and Subscriptions

Paid plans (Researcher and Dev + Builder) require an active subscription. Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel at any time. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us at scottie@lasmartai.com within 7 days of a charge if you have a concern.

API Keys and Third-Party Services

Dev + Builder users provide their own Anthropic API key. You are responsible for all usage and charges incurred through your API key. SnapCapture AI is not affiliated with Anthropic. Your use of the Anthropic API is governed by Anthropic's own terms at anthropic.com/legal/usage-policy.

Intellectual Property

The SnapCapture AI extension, website, and all associated branding are owned by SnapCapture AI. You retain full ownership of any content you capture using the Extension. We claim no rights over your captures, code, or data.

Limitation of Liability

SnapCapture AI is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Extension, including but not limited to data loss, service interruptions, or AI output errors. AI-generated summaries and analysis are provided for informational purposes and should not be relied upon as professional advice.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Changes will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date.
