SnapCapture AI ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how our Chrome extension and website handle your data.

Data Collection

We collect your email address for account management purposes. Payment processing is handled securely by Stripe. We do not store credit card information on our servers — all payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe in accordance with their PCI-compliant infrastructure.

AI Processing & BYOK

SnapCapture uses a Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) model for Dev + Builder users. All code analysis and AI operations are processed through your own Anthropic API key, sent directly from your browser to Anthropic's servers. We never see your code, your captures, or any content you submit for analysis. Your API key is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to our servers.

No Model Training

We do not use your captures, code, diagnostic results, or any content processed through SnapCapture to train any AI models — ours or anyone else's. Your data is yours.

Cookies

We use essential cookies only — specifically for login session management and Stripe checkout. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.

Your Rights

Under GDPR and applicable privacy laws, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at scottie@lasmartai.com and we will respond within 30 days.
