SnapCapture AI ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how our Chrome extension handles your data.

Data We Collect

SnapCapture AI collects only what is necessary to provide the service. This includes screenshots and page captures you initiate, your Anthropic API key (stored locally on your device only), and your selected capture mode (Consumer or Developer).

How Your Data Is Stored

All data is stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage. We do not operate servers that store your captures, API keys, or personal information. Your data never leaves your device except when you explicitly send a capture to the Anthropic API for AI analysis.

Third Party Services

When you use the AI Summary or AI Analyze features, your capture data is sent directly to Anthropic's API using your own API key. This data is governed by Anthropic's Privacy Policy at anthropic.com/privacy. We have no access to this data.

Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect personal information, browsing history, or usage analytics. We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to any third party.

Payments

Subscription payments are processed securely by our payment provider. We do not store credit card information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Changes will be posted at this URL with an updated date.
